Peterson-Ramos Home

This building was constructed in 1920 by a banker as an investment home.

The Peterson family bought/moved into the home when it did not sell and lived there until it was sold by Bruce Peterson, a son of the original owner, to the Ramos family

According to Kathy Peterson, wife of the original owner, the home was nicknamed “Happy Acres” because it used to have several more acres attached to it at the time.

There are several homes in Ephraim that were constructed by the same builder who built this home. One of them is located across the street from this one and the other is located on Main Street, owned by the Erickson family. The house is 1 ½ stories and the upper roof is angled. Today, the home is privately owned by the Ramos family.
