Kirstine Christensen Jensen
Kirstine was born on April 14, 1810 in Store Lindet, Maribo, Denmark. She died on February 26, 1895 in Ephraim, Utah. Her parents are Christen Hansen and Birthe Hansen.
On Family Search her name is spelled Kjersten.

Kirstine and her husband, Gregers Jensen were married in Denmark. They became the parents of eight children. Her husband died in Denmark on 18 March 1865/67.
Records show that Kirstine, together with her daughter, Dorthea and two sons, imigrated from Denmark to Utah in 1866. They traveled from Copenhagen to Hamburg, Germany wit Dorthea's future husband, Jens Peter Hansen Jensen, his mother and his sister. They reached Wyoming, Nebraska on August 11, 1866, by way of the Missouri River.
When the company arrived in Wyoming in the wagon train outfitting station, there was no time to rest because the last train of Church teams had already waited a long time for the arrival of these emigrants.
The Cholera-plagued company had to get ready in great haste for the long and wearisome journey ahead. Captain Lowery's train of sixty wagons was the last of the season and arrived in the Salt Lake Valley on October 22, 1866.
Kirstine's daughter, Dorthea, was married to Jens Peter Hansen Jensen the day after their arrival in Salt Lake City. The newlyweds, Kirstine, two sones, and Jens Peter's sister, Caroline Maria, continued their travels to Ephraim, Utah and settle there.
Kirstine died in Ephraim, February 26, 1895. She had been a widow for thirty years.
